The Yankees have reportedly signed veteran free agent lefty Gio Gonzalez to a minor league deal.

The deal also grants Gonzalez the ability to opt out by April 20 if he has not been added to the major league roster by then.

Gonzalez, 33, split the 2018 season between the Nationals and Brewers, going 10-11 with a 4.21 ERA and 1.44 WHIP. Serving in the MLB for 11 years, he was a first-round pick of the White Sox in 2004, and went to Oakland in 2008.

Gonzalez is a two-time All-Star, who led the league with 21 wins in 2012.
