Robert Trump, the younger brother of President Donald Trump, passes away at 71.

NEW YORK — On August 15th, Robert Trump, President Donald Trump’s younger brother, passed away at the age of 71 after suffering from an illness. Robert was admitted to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and visited by President Trump on Friday, August 14th.

“It is with a heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace,” President Trump stated.

Details of the specifics pertaining to Robert Trump’s illness have not been made public.
