WILMINGTON, DE — On November 25th, Presumptive President-Elect Joe Biden (D) issued a call for unity and conformity to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.

“I know the country has grown weary of the fight,” Biden said. “We need to remember we’re at war with the virus, not with one another. Not with each other.”

These remarks come shortly after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that he will not be complicit with the Supreme Court’s ruling, striking down coronavirus restrictions imposed on religious gatherings. The court ruled in favor of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and two Orthodox Jewish congregations for an injunction to obstruct Cuomo’s restrictions from being enforced.

“It’s irrelevant from any practical impact because the zone that they were talking about has already been moot,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) said. “I think this was really just an opportunity for the court to express its philosophy and politics.”

If granted the presidency by the electoral college, Biden will inherit an intense battle between coronavirus restrictionists and those advocating for the preservation of constitutional liberties.
