The year 2026, the 250th anniversary of the United States, may go down in history as a period of time when President Trump terminated a nuclear threat from Iran but when the United States turned socialist. So what have we gained?
Unpleasant truths are emerging from the November 3 elections. One is that the Republican Party of Abraham Lincoln has collapsed, and the Union along with it. Patriots are looking for alternatives.
The Constitution Party, started by conservative icon Howard Phillips, is holding a national event in Evansville, Indiana, on November 13 – 14, 2026.
Justin Magill, national chairman, says the Democrats and the GOP “are so entrenched and so well bought that no real change is possible within the two old, dying parties,” and that “The only effective strategy is to raise up other parties that will defend individual rights.”
Well, the Dems are already being taken over by the socialists and have a plan to install AOC as president in 2028. The GOP, on the other hand, has been defeated and is demoralized. Most Republicans, including their FBI Director Kash Patel, don’t understand the Red-Green alliance.
A possible 2028 candidate, J.D. Vance, has a great story to tell but is tainted by his association with the Iran War. That may be why Vance issued a statement saying that voters switched to Democrats over four issues: ending the war, the cost of living and inflation, putting America first, and the U.S. relationship with Israel.
The latter point irritates conservatives who support Israel but Vance is indirectly acknowledging the rise of anti-Semitism on the right.
A “newsletter” from conservative G. Edward Griffin, once admired on the right, published an article,” Zionists Are Now Targeting Federal Judges and State Justices for Capture,” about judges who travel to Israel for conferences.
The author apparently believes that Zionists are now running the Trump White House. He claims, “They captured the presidency. They captured Congress. And now they are rounding up the judges.”
I get emails all the time on this topic, with one person insisting that the “Talmudic effort,” referring to Jews, is the problem, and that “Money finally controls and the T-Men have and have pretty much always had all the money. Plus, as data shows, they’re smarter than most of us. As a coordinated group, definitely.”
The Talmud is the central text of Rabbinic Judaism and the primary source of Jewish religious law.
I would respond that our big problem in a socialist America is the advent of Sharia law.
In any case, Ron DeSantis of Florida has a great story to tell but if he decides to run for president, he inherits a political party in disarray and on the decline. The same is true for Marco Rubio.
Meanwhile, some “conservatives” are hanging on to a sinking ship.
I watched Republican Trump supporter Dan Bongino on Rumble the day after the debacle, and he said we have to keep fighting. So why did he join the FBI and abruptly leave? He could have done a lot more inside the bureaucracy. Isn’t he an example of the problem we face?
It looks like Lincoln saved the country and Trump, at least his Republican Party, has turned it over to the socialists. It’s a hell of a legacy, much bigger than a new White House ballroom.
To make matters worse, there is talk of Trump ditching Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who has remade the U.S. military into a fighting force free of DEI. Hegseth didn’t make the decision to go to war in Iran. He carried it out.
Making Hegseth a scapegoat is an abomination. Yet Fox News is trying to get him canned, even though he was once on their payroll! Look at this hatchet job they published about him.
The New York Post is also in on the hit job, running stories like “Trump says he has ‘every intention’ of keeping Pete Hegseth as pressure grows to oust War Secretary.”
Pressure from whom? Democrats and RINOs.
The culprit, sad to say, in this election was Trump himself. One patriot wrote to me, saying, “What kind of leader starts a war in an election year, months before the midterms, when anyone could see what it would do to gas prices? Everything costs more when fuel costs more: groceries, shipping, getting to work. Families felt it every time they filled the tank, and Trump himself admitted prices wouldn’t come down until after the election. Of course, people voted the way they did. That wasn’t the Democrats’ doing. That was a choice made in the White House.”
The flip side of the coin is that Trump’s decision probably saved the United States (and Israel) from a nuclear strike. But what is there left to save if the decision results in a country going socialist?
Under a socialist America run by AOC and the Democrats, Iran will rearm and go nuclear anyway.
This patriot went on to say, “Then there’s the SAVE America Act. Republicans held the Senate and still couldn’t even get a simple majority, because members of their own party voted it down alongside the Democrats. Don’t blame the other side for opposing something they always opposed. The failure belongs to the Republicans who claimed to support election integrity and then refused to deliver it.”
The same patriot seized on the Ilhan Omar inquiry, asking, “And where is all the accountability we were promised? Years of talk about the ‘deep state,’ and who has actually been brought to justice? No one. Let’s look at Ilhan Omar. The questions about her conduct have been around since 2019, yet her home wasn’t searched until a few weeks before the midterm election. Now she has been reelected with more than three-quarters of the vote and is going back to Congress, and with Democrats running the House, I don’t expect anything to come of her illegal activities. Do you really think that timing is a coincidence?”
He concludes, “I believe this last-minute show was no accident. I believe this nation was intentionally handed over to the DSA, and Trump was part of it. Wake up. We have all been duped, and it’s only going to get worse. Open your eyes, and expose the TRUTH.”
If what he says is true, then the Fox is already in the henhouse and the only real alternative is another political party or movement to retake America.
A similar pont was made by another patriot, who blamed RINOs like Tillis, Thune, and Cornyn, but “Most of all I blame Trump for his ego, disorganized style, bullshit, and lack of steel. He should have invoked the Insurrection Act and arrested all of this scum months ago.”
I asked John L. Bowman, author of books on socialism and democracy, whether there is anything conservatives can do.
He replied, “I think history tells us the only way to counteract socialism is to let it naturally fail (like their communes and countries like the Soviet Union). I suspect my city of Portland, Oregon, is an example. There has been a constant demand from the proletariat of Portland to tax the rich. Well, the rich, their businesses, and employees have left and downtown Portland is now like an abandoned city. One consequence is a $65 million deficit in school funding, so they are planning to close many schools, to the proletariat’s dismay.”
Why did the socialists win on November3? The Iran war and resulting high gas prices were major factors. Americans didn’t like spending a few more dollars on energy. Voting by non-citizens has to have been a factor as well.
Bowman notes, “Clearly, socialism is more acceptable today for many Americans. I think many Americans have come to take the freedom and abundance created by our democratic/capitalistic system for granted. They don’t appreciate the virtues of America. Why do so many people want to come here? Why do you see communist East Berliners escaping to the west, Communist Cubans risking 90 miles of ocean to get to America, and communist [refugee] Kowlooners escaping to Hong Kong? Nobody escapes to East Berlin, Cuba, and communist China.”
Here, Bowman adds, “socialism is attractive to people who are lazy, unwilling to work, poor, lack ability, and incompetent with money.”
Hence, new House Speaker Hakim Jeffries is promising more legislation to expand welfare benefits. Trump will veto those bills, but the damage is already done.
One patriot told me, “The American people will pay a terrible price for their short-sighted stupidity. I hope they get what is coming good and hard.”
